Job summary

LOGISTEC is seeking a Foreman to lead maintenance on heavy equipment at our port and logistics operation. You will supervise technicians, prioritize repairs, and drive safety, uptime and efficiency across shift teams in a dynamic, 24/7 setting.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience and a proven track record in supervision, with strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulics, and electrical systems. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and safety compliance.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance (port, marine, warehousing, or logistics environment preferred).
2+ years in a supervisory or lead hand role.

Responsibilities

Supervise, assign, and coordinate daily tasks for maintenance technicians and mechanics.
Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to the team.
Ensure shift coverage and prioritize urgent breakdowns or operational needs.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and reinforce safety expectations.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment (forklifts, reach stackers, loaders, excavators, hoppers, crane buckets and hoppers).
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Ensure timely repair of equipment to minimize operational downtime.
Review work orders and ensure accurate completion and documentation.
