Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Logistics & Port Operations Coordinator to support the daily movement of inbound freight between the port and the manufacturing facility in Ladson, SC. This role focuses on coordinating container releases and transportation to ensure timely deliveries.

You will work 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm, and collaborate with production teams to manage schedules, comply with deadlines, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or supply chain coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily container call-offs from the production team and coordinate container releases.
• Schedule transportation providers to move containers from the port to the manufacturing facility.
• Organize unloading schedules and determine whether containers should be unloaded immediately or staged for future production needs.
• Ensure all containers are unloaded and returned to the port within the designated turnaround period.
• Manage schedules, calendars, and transportation timelines.
