Job summary

Atlas Marine, a motor carrier division of Cargomatic, is seeking a Port Dispatcher / Driver Manager in Savannah, GA to manage high-volume scheduling and dispatch for owner-operators and carriers.

The role requires at least 2 years of Port/Drayage experience, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This is an on-site position with standard hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Port/Drayage Dispatcher experience required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics terms and dispatch practices.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch owner-operators and third-party drivers and carriers hauling under Cargomatic's SCAC code.
• Plan routes to ensure pickups and deliveries are on schedule.
• Build relationships with owner-operators and carriers.
• Assess driver and vehicle capability for each haul.
• Track and trace shipments.
• Problem-solve and communicate issues, delays, or concerns.
• Provide accurate reporting and data entry.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to carriers and customers.
• Navigate proprietary software to manage daily operations.
• Perform operational/administrative tasks as needed.
