Job summary

Port Dispatcher / Driver Manager at Savannah facility is a full-time, on-site role with Mon-Fri hours 8:00-5:00 and occasional weekends. You will manage high-volume dispatch for owner-operators and third-party drivers, plan routes, track shipments, and ensure timely communications.

Requires 2+ years Port/Drayage experience, strong problem-solving, and bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Port/Drayage Dispatcher experience required.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics concepts and dispatch best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and make productive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch owner-operators and third-party drivers and carriers hauling under Cargomatic's SCAC code (high-volume).
• Plan routes to ensure pickups and deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Build strong relationships with owner-operators and carriers.
• Assess driver and vehicle capability for each haul.
• Track and trace shipments.
• Problem-solve and communicate issues, delays, or concerns with shipments.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and data entry.
• Provide exceptional customer service to carriers and internal/external customers.
• Navigate Cargomatic’s proprietary software to manage daily operations and loads.
• Perform operational/administrative responsibilities as needed.
