• Nautical/maritime education combined with cargo experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-planning of cargoes and attend vessel loading or discharge in person.
• Visually inspect cargo for damage upon arrival or discharge.
• Ensure cargo is stowed and lashed per pre-planning and seamanship standards.
• Coordinate with chartering, operations, and vessel command.
• Provide daily operational updates to the operator and discuss issues with the vessel core team.
• Submit final load/discharge reports with stowage plans and photos.
• Participate in post-voyage reviews of port calls with the vessel operator.
• Support local offices with operational/technical advice and arrange travel as needed.
