Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Pork Technical Services Veterinarian to provide scientific and technical support for strategically important pork accounts in the Upper Midwest. The role focuses on building intimate knowledge of customers' business models and partnering with account managers to drive account plans that maximize Zoetis sales.

You will engage with producers and veterinarians, deliver technical training, advise on veterinary solutions, and collaborate with field teams to position Zoetis

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and relevant post-doctoral experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Current knowledge in pork production management and veterinary medicine.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Call on pork producers, veterinarians, dealers and consultants to provide scientific support.
• Provide technical training and education to colleagues in the pork unit.
• Offer sound technical advice on routine inquiries and assist team members.
• Develop customer-focused strategies and long-term relationships with Zoetis customers.
• Collaborate with Area Business Managers to implement the Area Operations Plan.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities and customer interactions.
