Job summary

Zoetis, Inc. is seeking an experienced veterinary professional to serve as the primary veterinary support for poultry products in the United States.

The role involves presenting the technical and economic rationale of vaccination and other services to customers and to internal teams. The ideal candidate holds a DVM with additional poultry industry experience and will train field staff on vaccines, health programs, and production practices.

Qualifications

• DVM and MAM or equivalent qualification acquired through formal training or work experience demonstrated.
• Work experience of ten or more years in the poultry industry and familiarity with US/Canada broiler companies.
• Proven success at managing and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and provide solutions to commercial producers on flock health/management issues.
• Advise customers in designing flock health and vaccination programs to accommodate their needs.
• Responsible for technical planning and execution of customer trials within budgeted expense levels.
• Assist in the development of a long-term technical strategy for growth of products.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement account strategies.
• Provide market feedback to improve the technical service function and knowledge base.
