Job summary

The MJ Companies in Phoenix, AZ is offering a Summer 2026 population health internship onsite. This full-time internship (37.5 hours/week) provides hands-on experience in developing population health plans, client communications, and internal resources within a consulting environment.

You will learn how health initiatives, data, and vendor relationships contribute to risk mitigation and cost containment for clients, while supporting strategy execution and event coordination.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Exercise & Wellness, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Committed to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and executing population health strategies for MJ clientele.
• Develop wellness-focused communications and templates (newsletters, challenges).
• Coordinate wellness events and support vendor research and proposal development.
• Support internal population health initiatives and process improvements.
