Holmes Murphy & Associates in Waukee, IA is seeking a Population Health Intern for a 10-week summer program. The intern will learn how population health management supports captive members and insurance broker partners, and assist with initiatives across multiple areas including onboarding, analytics, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a 4-year institution; pursuing related field preferred.
• Prior customer service, administrative, or healthcare-related work experience is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in educational opportunities to learn about insurance and population health topics.
• Must comply with HIPAA regulations and E&O policies.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist Population Health Consultants with developing and executing strategies for captive members.
• Track and analyze Member Development Plans (MDPs) and scorecard results to identify best practices.
• Assist enrollment tracking and member onboarding, including Springbuk forms and communications.
• Research Population Health topics and help maintain a list of speakers, case studies, and resources.
• Prepare agendas, PowerPoint presentations, and follow-up materials for committee meetings and quarterly calls.
• Gain exposure to Population Health vendor relationships and complete special projects as requested.
