Job summary

Hot Topic is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an outstanding in-store experience for fans of music and pop culture. You’ll share knowledge, stock shelves, and keep the store visually appealing while focusing on customer satisfaction.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced team, assisting customers at checkout, supporting merchandising, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for fellow fans. Must be at least 16 years old and ready to work in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
• Youll have to be at least 16 years of age to join the fandom force.
• Avenger-like collaboration and communication skills.
• The usual retail stuff: navigate store, merchandise, and unpack boxes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure areas meet visual standards.
• Work the register and process sales transactions with add-on options like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
• Help maintain stock room organization and store tidiness.
• Collaborate with team to get the job done.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Leader.
