Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui seeks an experienced Server for AMA Bar & Grill - Poolside. You will greet guests, explain menu details, and deliver attentive service in an outdoor, social setting while maintaining a warm aloha spirit.

Qualifications include at least 2 years in a high-volume upscale restaurant, plus hospitality knowledge or wine familiarity. The role provides medical/dental benefits, 401(k), dining discounts, and career growth opportunities within Accor worldwide.

Hourly: $16.00

What you will be doing:

• Confirm station assignment
• Complete daily opening checklist and duties assigned
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
• Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Schedule:

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum 2years’ serving experience in high volume, upscale full service restaurant preferred
• Previous fine dining experience and wine knowledge is an asset
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team

Certifications and Licenses:

• TB Clearance required
• Maui County Liquor Card required
• Hawaii Food Safety Certification required

Education:

• High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training
• Degree in Hospitality or Tourism is an asset

Your working environment:

• Work tasks are performed outdoors where conditions vary throughout the year
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push and pull 50lbs.
