Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a pool attendant to oversee the pool area, announce safety guidelines, and keep all poolside equipment ready for guest use. The role emphasizes guest information delivery and hospitality service in a resident-focused environment.

Responsibilities include setup/breakdown for pool activities, incident reporting, debris removal, equipment checks, and teamwork. A strong customer service mindset and adherence to safety policies are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Hospitality coursework strongly desirable.
• Two or more years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multilingual ability is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with setup and breakdown for poolside activities.
• Submit and report incidents to the manager.
• Assist with cleaning and debris removal.
• Check sports equipment and report replacements.
• Work as a team member and be approachable to residents/guests.
• Follow Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
