Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to oversee state-of-the-art pools, monitor the deck, and ensure safety for members both indoors and outdoors. You will support events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes safety, rescue, first aid, and clear communication with guests; training and certifications are required or to be bridged within the first year. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members
