Job summary

Ledge, based in Katy, Texas, seeks an Industrial Designer to shape products from early concept through to production, delivering experiences that are innovative, beautiful and unmistakably Ledge.

You will collaborate with the Industrial Design core team, Engineering and other partners to create the best products for pool environments and outdoor living, combining design exploration with manufacturing awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or equivalent portfolio strength.
• Portfolio demonstrates concept development and form exploration.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, design visualization, and sketch-based communication.
• Ability to create and evaluate prototypes at appropriate fidelity.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes; eager to deepen.

Responsibilities

• Explore early product ideas through sketching, 3D CAD and prototyping to establish a compelling experience goal.
• Refine the user experience through disciplined iteration from concept to design-intent lock.
• Develop design-intent CAD and provide clear handoffs to Engineering.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design for manufacture while protecting core design ethos.
• Deliver design work and handoffs according to project timelines and quality expectations.
• Present concepts clearly to the core team and cross-functional partners, incorporating feedback.
• Use sketches, CAD models, prototypes, and visual tools to communicate design decisions.
• Strengthen knowledge of materials and manufacturing capabilities for future work.
