Job summary

The Charleston Place is seeking a Pool Attendant to greet guests warmly, escort them to poolside seating, and maintain a welcoming, luxury pool environment. You will support pool operations, manage towels, and assist theFood & Beverage team during busy periods with knowledge of daily specials and menu items.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, excellent English communication, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear and effective English communication with guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Friendliness, efficiency, and courteous service to guests.
• Ability to memorize and explain extensive food, beverage and daily specials to guests.
• Remain calm under pressure; be organized and self-motivated.
• Positive attitude and ability to initiate light conversation with guests.
• Basic knowledge of Charleston and surrounding areas.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Foreign language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort to tables or poolside loungers.
• Set up and maintain poolside lounge chairs and towel inventory.
• Provide support to food & beverage servers during busy periods.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials.
• Clear, bus, and reset tables; polish silverware and glassware.
• Adhere to Forbes Standards for service and presentation.
