Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Poolside Cafe Server for Spring to Fall 2025. The role supports the Wheelhouse Cafe, which includes a full bar and dining room serving adult, family, and kids pool areas.

You will provide friendly, attentive service and uphold high guest-experience standards. Requirements include at least six months of food service or private club server experience, English literacy, and familiarity with a POS system.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and follow written and/or oral direction in English.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
• Clothing must be in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property, including wearing name tag.
• Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; Management has final approval.
• Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials and miscellaneous information.
• Greet members and their guests IMMEDIATELY and with a SMILE.
• Guide members and their guests through the course of their dining experience, communicating frequently with them.
• Ring member checks accurately and on a timely manner.
• Close and check all member checks at the end of the shift.
• Turn in check-out to the Café Captain or the Service Director.
• Perform other jobs that will assist in quality member service as assigned by the Café Captain or the Service Director.
