Job summary

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Estero, FL is seeking a Recreation Attendant to keep guests entertained and relaxed at the pool and in outdoor areas. You will help set up towels, chairs, cabanas, assist guests with requests, lead daily activities such as trivia and games, and maintain a clean, welcoming atmosphere.

This front‑line role requires a positive, energetic attitude, ability to stand for long periods, and comfort working outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight.
• A positive, energetic attitude with a strong customer service orientation.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• A team player who enjoys creating fun, engaging experiences for guests.
• Previous experience in recreation or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Poolside Paradise: Help set up and maintain the pool area by folding and replenishing towels, setting up lounge chairs and cabanas, and keeping everything clean and organized so guests can enjoy their time in the sun.
