The Resort at Summerlin is seeking an Engineer I - Pool Technician to maintain all pools and water features, ensuring safe operation and guest satisfaction at the Las Vegas property.

The role requires one year of pool experience, strong chemistry knowledge, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs. The position supports operations across the resort with a focus on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year experience maintaining commercial pools and spas preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pool and spa water chemistry.
• Basic knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Strong problem solving and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to safety and SDS practices.
• Knowledge of handling pool and spa chemicals.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate power tools and related equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with staff, guests, and vendors.
• Ability to maintain logs and chemical records.
• Three years' experience in a resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure buildings, pools, spas, and related equipment are maintained safely and cleanly per regulations.
• Perform maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
• Test and balance pool/spa water chemistry to SNHD standards.
• Calibrate and monitor automated chemical controllers.
• Maintain pool systems and equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on pool-related equipment.
• Service pool equipment to ensure guest comfort and safety.
• Record maintenance activities and safety checks accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
