Job summary

JW Marriott Las Vegas is seeking an Engineer I – Pool Technician to maintain pools and water features, ensure safety, and provide exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include testing water chemistry, operating pool equipment, and performing preventive maintenance while coordinating with the facilities team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience with commercial pools and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year experience maintaining commercial pools and spas preferred.
Ability to adjust and balance pool/spa water chemistry; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

Maintain and operate all pools and water features in a safe, clean condition.
Perform basic maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general sanitation.
Test and balance pool water chemistry to SNHD standards; calibrate chemical controllers.
Maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
Document readings and maintenance activities; keep logs and logs up to date.
Respond to work orders and guest service requests promptly and professionally.
