Job summary

JW Marriott Las Vegas is seeking an Engineer I – Pool Technician to maintain pools and water features, ensure safety, and provide exceptional guest service. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience with commercial pools and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience maintaining commercial pools and spas preferred.
  • Ability to adjust and balance pool/spa water chemistry; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate all pools and water features in a safe, clean condition.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general sanitation.
  • Test and balance pool water chemistry to SNHD standards; calibrate chemical controllers.
  • Maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
  • Document readings and maintenance activities; keep logs and logs up to date.
  • Respond to work orders and guest service requests promptly and professionally.
