Job summary

Pinch A Penny Phoenix, part of POOLCORP, is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for pool owners. You will greet customers, perform water testing, answer questions, restock supplies, and keep displays tidy.

This role requires 21+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, and a High School Diploma/GED. Retail or pool industry experience is preferred; you must lift up to 50 pounds and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to drive a company vehicle.
• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
• Retail and/or pool industry experience recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment while staying friendly and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers as they enter and provides attentive, solutions-focused service.
• Performs pool/spa water testing and helps customers understand results, recommending next steps and products based on store guidelines.
• Answers phone calls professionally and assists with customer questions or directs them to the appropriate team member.
• Prepares and restocks pool additive containers/jugs and ensures related supplies are organized and available.
• Keeps the store clean and customer-ready—straighten shelves, dust products, maintain displays, and keep the counter area tidy.
• Notifies management of product, supply, or stock shortages to support strong in-stock levels.
