Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Essential Job Functions:

  • Greets customers and takes food and beverage orders in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
  • Prepares food and beverage orders and delivers them in a timely manner in accordance with the venues standards.
  • Monitors guests’ needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled. Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have.
  • Performs cash handling tasks, as required and in accordance with the cash handling procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of guest and work areas, including tables, chairs, counters, display shelves and storage as assigned.
  • Performs all side work and stocking of supplies in accordance with venue standards.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous cash handling and Micros register experience.
  • Previous bartending experience is a plus.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be willing to participate in on-going training in the beverage field.
  • Must have knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.
  • Must be able to work independently, with little supervision.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must adhere to uniform requirements
  • Must be able to work in excessive heat for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets.
  • Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters.
  • Must possess the manual dexterity to complete required “side work”.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
