Job summary

Opal Collection in Key Largo, FL is seeking a friendly Pool Server to deliver attentive, high-volume service by the pool in an outdoor resort setting.

This tipped role requires excellent guest interaction, the ability to work weekends and holidays, and the stamina to work in heat while upholding SOPs and safety standards. You will greet guests, take orders, coordinate with bartenders, and maintain a clean dining area throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience is a plus.
• Able to work in heat during shifts.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift to 20 lbs. and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Walk or stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests arriving at the pool in a professional, friendly manner and provides attentive, efficient service.
• Assist with opening pool bar duties.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Open and organize dining areas; set up cascading dining space.
• Take food and drink orders while walking the pool deck.
• Know the bar menu, garnishes and preparation methods.
• Clear and reset tables as needed; restock supplies.
• Work with bartenders to ensure a quality guest experience.
• Assist with closing shift duties.

Responsibilities:

• Greets all guests arriving at the pool in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner. Provide attentive, efficient, friendly service following SOP's
• Assist with opening pool bar duties.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, responds promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
• Maintains positive guest relations at all times.
• Open, set up, and organize cascades dining area
• Walk pool deck during service taking food and drink orders
• Have working knowledge of bar menu and drinks, garnishes and preparation methods
• Clean tables and rest as needed.
• Work closely with bartenders to provide quality guest experience
• Assist with closing shift duties
