Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Pool Server to deliver exemplary service to pool guests in a luxury setting. You will greet guests, describe menu items, assist with seating, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages with attention to detail.

We value an outgoing personality, solid knowledge of food & cocktails, and at least six months in luxury food & beverage. Full-time, on-site role offering extensive training and employee perks.

• High level of understanding and knowledge of food and cocktails.
• Six months food and beverage experience in luxury setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, stock, restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits, and other items needed to provide guests with a high level of service.
• Set up, relocate and maintain all pool deck equipment.
• Greet guests, ascertain name, room number, time of arrival and seating details; log daily information; assist with seating and amenities; describe menu items to guests and relay orders to kitchen.

About the role:

The Pool Serverprovides exceptional quality and service to Pool guests. In this role, you will betaskedwithaccommodatingguests'needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as all pool amenities and services.

What you will do:

Retrieve, stock, restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits, and other items or amenities needed in the area to provide guests with a level of service in keeping with a Four Seasons outlet of operation.

Set up,relocateand maintain all pool deck equipment.

Upon greeting,ascertainguest/resident/apartment guest name, room number, time of arrival and chaise/table number and record on the daily log sheet.Assistguests and residents in seating, offering towels, and informing them of amenities, hotel information and food and beverage service; offer cold towels, watermistsand glasses of water.

Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.

5.Anticipateguest needs,ascertainsatisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

What you bring:
