The University of Kansas is seeking student hourly staff for the Management and Entrepreneurship academic area of the KU School of Business. The positions involve teaching, grading, and research assistance for courses, with expectations to reflect the School of Business Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities include grading, holding office hours, and assisting with class materials; remote work is generally not allowed, and candidates must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the term.
The Management and Entrepreneurship academic area at the KU School of Business invites students to submit application materials for consideration for student hourly positions. Positions may involve teaching, grading, and/or conducting research assistance for School of Business courses. Throughout their employment, student employees will maintain and manifest positive actions that align with and support the Code of Conduct for the School of Business.
Job duties may include (but are not limited to):
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre‑enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
