Responsibilities

• Conduct water tests throughout the day.
• Maintain water chemistry and handle chemicals safely.
• Ensure circulation and filtration are at proper levels.
• Conduct safety inspections and document issues.
• Vacuum pools and clean areas around aquatic facilities.
• Work closely with lifeguards to ensure compliance.
• Maintain required reports and inventory for chemicals.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks as assigned.

Job description

Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining swimming pools, splash pads, and other aquatic facilities. This is a SEASONAL full-time or part-time position and reports to the Pool Supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs water tests multiple times throughout the day
• Maintains water chemistry and safely handles chemicals
• Ensures circulation and filtration stays at proper levels
• Conducts safety inspections daily, documenting and fixing any issues; reporting all unresolved issues immediately
• Vacuums all pools, cleans all skimmer baskets, and cleans all decks in all areas of the aquatic facilities
• Works closely with lifeguards to comply with all state and local regulations
• Maintains all required reports
• Maintain SDS and inventory for all chemicals
• Perform daily maintenance tasks as assigned by the Park Operations Manager and/or Facilities Manager
• Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with pools and CPO certification is a plus
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are a plus
