Job summary

Northgate Resorts invites applications for a Campground Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest sites and common areas, with occasional park maintenance tasks. This seasonal position can be full-time or part-time and reports to the Park Services Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of guest sites and common areas
  • Prepare sites and golf carts for guest arrivals
  • Power-wash park areas (pool deck, cafe areas)
  • Clean pavilions, cafe spaces, and bathhouses
  • Complete waterpark cleanup and assist landscaping
  • Maintain park aesthetics and report maintenance issues
  • Assist guest relations with lodging cleaning and cabin upkeep
  • Follow safety procedures and lift up to 50 lbs

TheCampground Attendantis responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of guest sites and common areas, and occasional park maintenance assistance. This is a SEASONAL,full-time or part-time position and reports to the Park Services Supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facility Duties
    • Timely trash pick-up around the park, operate trash compactor
    • Prepare sites and golf carts for guest arrivals (cleaning, wiping down, charging, etc.)
    • Power-wash various areas in the park (pool deck, cafe areas, etc.)
    • Clean all pavilions, cafe common areas/eating spaces, and bathhouses
    • Complete all waterpark clean up (deck, trash, cabanas, keeping chairs/tables in orderly positions)
    • Clean all decks and patios, windows, and doors throughout the park
    • Assist as needed in maintaining the park’s landscaping, including watering plants
  • Site Duties (at lodging sites and RV/tent sites)
    • Clean all picnic tables and fire rings between use
    • Pick up all trash at the site
    • Assist guest relations as needed in delivering firewood to guests
    • Assist as needed with cabins and lodging cleaning
    • Atmosphere Control
    • Responsible for the overall aesthetics of the park
    • Report maintenance issues in public areas
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
  • Customer service experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
  • Regularly move throughout the parkContinuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
  • Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
  • Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
