Job summary

Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark is seeking a Pool Maintenance Technician to preserve pool and spa water quality and facility appearance. You will log chemical readings, clean filters, and assist with grounds maintenance while delivering warm, guest-focused service.

This role requires basic maintenance experience, a high school diploma (trade coursework preferred), and certifications such as CPR/CPO or the ability to obtain them within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience or equivalent training required.
• Basic knowledge of PVC plumbing repairs.
• CPO certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform upkeep of pools and grounds as needed.
• Log daily readings of pool quality parameters (pH, chlorine).
• Clean and disinfect pool filter media and canisters.
• Vacuum bodies of water and maintain water quality.
• Maintain daily logs of fitness center equipment condition.
• Support with other duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
