Job summary

OCI Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and pool area upkeep across the hotel and grounds. You will support other departments to ensure operational efficiency while maintaining safety standards and brand requirements.

The role requires the ability to handle stressful situations, strong organizational skills, and a valid CPO certification or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Responds to reported work orders and performs general repairs.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all areas of the hotel including guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment.
• Assists with maintaining the pool area according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes.
• Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot.
• Ensures all maintenance areas and equipment are clean, organized and secured.
• Maintains basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operation.
• Operates common power and hand tools safely.
• Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
