The Village at Penn State in State College, PA is seeking a Pool/Per Diem LPN Charge Nurse to lead daytime nursing operations on 12-hour shifts in a premier independent living community.

You will supervise nursing staff and household personnel, ensure policy compliance, assess residents daily, document changes, and collaborate with physicians and families. CPR certification and an active LPN license are required; benefits include PTO and tuition assistance.

Qualifikationen

• CPR certification is required.
• Three years’ geriatric nursing experience with supervisor responsibilities preferred.
• Active LPN/LVN license to practice inState College, PA is required.

Aufgaben

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing personnel and household staff.
• Interview and complete timely evaluations of staff.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Assess residents daily for changes in condition and notify physician/family as needed.
• Ensure medication procedures, documentation and orders are followed.
• Review shift incidents and complete required shift documentation.
