Job summary

Pentair in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Product Manager - Lighting to own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Residential Pool Lighting product line, from concept through launch and mature lifecycle management. You will craft strategy, roadmaps, and pricing; identify growth through market insights; and partner across Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize revenue and customer value.

Qualifications

• BS in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in product management.
• Experience in lighting, manufactured goods, hardware preferred.
• Strong cross-functional leadership to influence without authority.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Residential Pool Lighting product line, from concept through launch, sustainment, and end-of-life.
• Develop and maintain a clear product strategy and roadmap aligned to the broader Pool portfolio and business objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities through market segmentation, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
• Support portfolio investments, pricing, and feature prioritization with data-driven recommendations.
• Partner with Sales and Finance to forecast revenue, margin, and mix optimization.
• Own product-level pricing strategy, value positioning, and promotional recommendations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet performance, cost, and timing targets.
• Lead product launch execution with business cases, go-to-market plans, and cross-functional readiness.
• Define and track KPIs such as revenue, margin, attach rates, launch performance, quality, and CSAT.
