Job summary

Murrieta Hot Springs Resort is seeking a Pool Grounds associate to maintain pool areas, water quality, and guest-facing spaces with a focus on safety and cleanliness. The role requires reliable attendance, physical stamina, and the ability to work varying hours including weekends.

Responsibilities include daily pool upkeep, towel coordination, inventory monitoring, and proper tool maintenance, while ensuring guest satisfaction and resort presentation.

Qualifications

• Perform daily upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance of all geothermal pools.
• Test and record pool water temperatures daily.
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of pool areas for guest experience.
• Collect, organize, and transport used towels from pool and surrounding areas.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and materials necessary to perform daily duties.
• Properly store, clean, and maintain pool cleaning tools and equipment.
• Assist with general cleanliness and upkeep throughout the resort grounds as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management.

The Pool Grounds is solely responsible for the cleanliness of the pool's grounds and immediate surrounding area which includes handrails steps and mats. As well as the safety and upkeep of the entire pools area. This includes all handrails, bridges, creeks, signage, steps, chairs, tables, umbrellas, and any other guest-impacting item. They will also be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of their equipment. This includes pressure washers, hoses, spray guns, lights, pumps, personal protective equipment, and any other items required to complete their work.

• Perform daily upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance of all geothermal pools to ensure a safe, clean, and inviting guest experience.

• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of pool areas, contributing positively to guest experience and resort presentation.
• Collect, organize, and transport used towels from pool and surrounding areas.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and materials necessary to perform daily duties effectively.
• Properly store, clean, and maintain all pool cleaning tools and equipment to support a safe and organized work environment.
• Assist with general cleanliness and upkeep throughout the resort grounds as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management.

• Ability to understand and efficiently operate basic computer systems or mobile devices for documentation and reporting.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and stretch to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart, resort vehicle, trailers, pressure washers, and pool cleaning equipment.
• Ability to lift up to approximately 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to push or pull heavy carts up to approximately 100 pounds and lift trash containers up to approximately 60 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including accurately completing daily logs and paperwork.
• Physical abilities including grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.

Part Time

$18.00 Hourly
