Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial pool experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, installation instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and good driving record.
• Holds and maintains a Certified Pool Operators Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pools and spas in compliance with county codes.
• Balance water chemistry and adjust treatments.
• Repair pool equipment and systems as needed.
• Prepare service reports of materials used and work performed.
• Clean and repair filter systems and inspect decks and tiles.
• Maintain records of pool chemistry and readings.
• Assure safety and courtesy in interactions with community members.
