Job summary

Poolwerx is hiring a Pool Cleaning Technician to service residential and commercial pools on a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends. You’ll receive paid training and have access to a company vehicle and tools. You’ll build relationships with customers while maintaining water chemistry and pool equipment.

The role offers growth opportunities and a supportive team culture. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• No pool service experience required—training provided.
• Must be at least 21 years old for vehicle insurance.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to safely handle pool chemicals and equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Service an established route of residential and commercial pools.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry for safe, healthy water.
• Add and adjust pool chemicals including chlorine, sanitizers, pH adjusters, and algaecides.
• Brush pool walls, steps, and tile surfaces.
• Vacuum pools and remove debris.
• Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
• Clean or backwash pool filters as needed.
• Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, automation systems, and other equipment.
• Identify equipment issues and communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate completed work.
