Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience in a guest service role.
• Engaging and energetic personality.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Someone who can lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs.
• Availability to work varied shifts to include, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
• Work as a team to enhance the guests experience.
• Maintain an active presence around the pool & beach area, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure the safety of guests and hotel staff in the pool area by monitoring pool usage and ensuring all guests comply with posted safety rules and guidelines.
• Work closely with housekeeping to ensure towels are clean and readily available.
• Check in arriving guests to the pool area, helping them to identify as hotel/resort guests and to find available area for them to set-up for the day.
• Clean all areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
• Set-up and break down the pool area to ensure a successful day.
• Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.
• Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members.
• Immediately report any damage or incidents to the supervisor or the security department.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
