Job summary

AKAM seeks a Pool/Beach Attendant to maintain pool and beach stations, ensure safety, and deliver outstanding guest service to residents. The role requires a friendly, energetic attitude, the ability to greet guests, and assist with seating, towels, and poolside services during operating hours.

Responsibilities include setting up furniture, patrolling for safety, enforcing rules, and keeping the deck clean.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year experience in the hospitality industry.
• Valid/active First Aid and CPR certification.
• CPO Certification.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions.
• Knowledge of swimming pool equipment enough to perform minor maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Sets up umbrellas, loungers, and pool furniture.
• Observes and patrols the pool and enforces safety regulations.
• Greets guests and distributes towels, seating assistance, and consistent service.
• Maintains cleanliness of pool deck and facilities, including chairs and towels.
• Reports defects or hazards to supervisors and completes daily pool inspections.
• Manages pool cleaning schedule and assists with poolside activities.
