This 16-story hotel features 300 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with a range of meeting spaces to accommodate any gathering. From grand and junior ballrooms to intimate spaces and an elevated pool deck, Omni Frisco Hotel offers 24,000 square feet of meeting space for events.

Job Description

To serve guests and ensure their complete satisfaction with our pool and bar area.

Responsibilities

• Have full knowledge of all menus and beverage offerings.
• Understand responsible alcohol service.
• Properly set up and break down the service area and station.
• Provide high-quality guest interactions—be pleasant, friendly, and polite.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.
• Multi-task efficiently, managing several guests and duties while maintaining excellent service.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests.
• Enter orders accurately and promptly into the computer system.
• Manage walk-up and seated guests appropriately.
• Prepare beverages for Oceanside servers from printed tickets.
• Clean floors and bar area nightly.
• Prepare beverages quickly and efficiently, following standards.
• Follow service standards and best practices consistently.
• Work effectively with team members.
• Complete bar and lobby setup and breakdown side-work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Ability to work in tight quarters with others.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds routinely, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, squat, reach, and lean during daily duties.
• Valid TABC and Food Handler certificates required.
