Job description

As Pool Attendant, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

  • Ensure pool deck, furniture, showers, and surrounding areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
  • Maintain poolside restrooms and changing areas in line with hygiene standards.
  • Replace and neatly arrange towels throughout the day.
  • Keep towel station fully stocked and organized.
  • Request and manage inventory of towels and other poolside amenities.
  • Greet guests warmly and assist them with towels and poolside needs.
  • Ensure a high level of guest service and anticipate guest needs before being asked.
  • Proactively address any guest concerns or pass them along to the supervisor if needed.
  • Maintain an orderly environment by arranging pool furniture, collecting unattended items, and ensuring clear walkways.
  • Report any hazards or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including use of non-slip mats, safety signs, and pool safety rules.
  • Monitor and report any issues with pool facilities or equipment.
  • Assist with preparation and clean-up of poolside events or activities.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are followed as per standards.
  • Ensure all equipment is well maintained and in safe condition.
  • Carry out when required stock count, both retail and professional stock.
  • Report lost and found items and submit guest incident reports to the Management.
  • Update the communications book of my department on daily events if any.
  • Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
  • Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation.My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Pool Attendant, I must have the required skills/documentation:

  • Swissnationality or EU nationality
  • Fluent in English; and French
