OVERVIEW

Pool Attendants are responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary pool area and ensuring that all safety equipment is present and functional at all times.

JOB DUTIES
  • Test and balance pool chemicals, documenting as required by state and local regulations.
  • Monitor and adjust pool temperature as directed.
  • Clean and vacuum the pool, clean skimmer baskets, backwash filters, and skim the pool as needed.
  • Monitor residents entering and exiting the pool area, ensuring capacity limits are not exceeded.
  • Enforce posted pool rules.
  • Check safety equipment daily to ensure it is present and in working order; inspect the first aid kit for supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pool bathrooms daily, keeping them stocked and free of standing water.
  • Sweep the pool deck and surrounding areas daily.
  • Arrange pool furniture regularly, keeping it clean and functional; report damaged furniture to the supervisor.
  • Garden and weed in common areas as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Clean the clubhouse and surrounding areas as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • Some High School Education (Required)
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to withstand seasonal temperatures.
  • Flexibility to respond to community needs outside of regular hours.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and internet use.
  • Valid driver's license required.
