Overview

The Pool Activities Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the pool slide for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Walk the pool area and remove newspapers, trays, empty ash urns, trash, and/or linens. Note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, fellow employees, and oneself.
• Handle items for “lost and found” according to hotel standards.
• Report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible with long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to perform heavy work – exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds of force consistently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
