Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Miami Beach is seeking a Pool Attendant to maintain pool stations and deliver exceptional guest service. You will clean pool areas, restock towels, and assist guests with service requests.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in hospitality, and the ability to work long hours while lifting heavy items. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Very heavy work - exerting and lifting as described in job responsibilities.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pool stations and cleanliness of pool areas, furniture and service areas.
• Replenish towels and retail amenities and stock during shift.
• Assist in opening and closing side-work as assigned.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and assist guests with service requests.
• Support pool and lounge operations and retail outlets as needed.
