High school diploma or equivalent, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous hospitality experience is preferred. Knowledge of pool cleaning and general pool maintenance is a plus but the company will train a qualified individual.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Individuals must be able to communicate in English and be able to express themselves accurately and concisely.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations, in a quick, courteous manner.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee must be able to work in an outdoor environment throughout the day and perform general pool maintenance tasks. Must be able to use chemicals and equipment safely. Must be able to react to emergency situations in a calm, professional manner.
