Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts Mill Falls seeks a pool and health club attendant to keep the area clean, safe and welcoming for guests. You will stock supplies, vacuum, mop, and assist guests with equipment while maintaining sanitation and brand standards.

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to swim; CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent guest service and teamwork within a dynamic hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare and stock supplies for the pool and health club.
• Maintain pool (vacuuming, decks, furniture, towels and trash).
• Maintain health club (vacuuming, wipe equipment, towels).
• Ensure safety rules for guests and employees are followed.
• Assist guests with equipment and respond to needs.
• Attend meetings and report incidents to supervisor.

Job description

Essential Functions

• Clean, prepare and stock supplies for the pool and health club
• Maintain pool including vacuuming, washing decks and flushing gutters. straighten pool furniture, remove trash and used towels.
• Maintain health club including vacuuming, wiping down equipment, removing trash and used towels.
• Assist in ensuring health club and pool usage rules are adhered for the safety of guests and employees.
• Assist guests with equipment and respond to guest needs.
• On time and at work when scheduled, and in proper uniform.
• Attend department meetings as scheduled.
• consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and associates.
• Report and incidents of guest dissatisfaction or other matters of significance to manager/supervisor so that corrective measures may be taken.
• Comply with policies and procedures. Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures. Write shift reports including reports on any incidents on any incidents of theft, accidents or injuries when assigned. Check with manager/supervisor before leaving work area for any reason.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested by management.
• Any other tasks/duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• High School education, equivalent, or related experience.
• Ability to swim
• Certified in CPR, Basic First Aid and familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort

Physical work is a primary part of job. Work is normally performed inside and outside the hotel with cleaning supplies, equipment and machines. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. The exposure to hazards or physical risks requires following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling and lifting up to 100 lbs. While performing job duties, the associate is required to speak, listen and write. The job requires close vision with or without corrective lenses.
