Job description

Maggie Valley Club & Resort is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Pool Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.

Key Responsibilities of the Pool Attendant:
  1. Maintains cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance procedures.
  2. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities.
  3. Answers guest questions regarding such programs.
  4. Records all cash, check, and charges based on established cash control procedures.
  5. Maintains understanding of operating procedures for pool, bikes, boats, and fitness equipment.
  6. Completes checklist for opening, closing, and daily procedures.
  7. Takes direction from Facility Coordinator, Special Event and Youth Coordinator, and Conference Recreation Coordinator.
  8. Assists in the implementation of programs, youth programs, special events, and conference recreation events.
  9. Provides a safe environment within facilities and activities.
  10. Processes recreation reservations as needed.
  11. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  12. Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  13. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications for the Pool Attendant:
  • No prior experience or training required.
Other Qualifications:
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
