Job summary

Barletta Boats is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to operate and monitor manufacturing equipment that crafts premium pontoon boats. You will set up machines, perform quality checks, and ensure accurate production records while collaborating with maintenance and quality teams.

The role requires reading technical drawings and tapes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment with PPE usage. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Tube Seamers, CNC Routers, Press Brakes, Shears, Benders, and other production machinery.
• Set up machines according to production specifications.
• Perform routine quality checks and verify precision of machined components.
• Identify and report defects or production issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance for repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain accurate production records and machine settings.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report concerns immediately.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and productivity.
