Barletta Boats in Bristol, IN, is seeking a Production Team Member – Machine Operator to operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time fabrication of pontoon boats. You will read work orders, set up machines, perform quality checks, and support safety procedures in a fast-paced indoor manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with team members to hit daily goals, document machine settings, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and tape measures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
  • Able to stand 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery such as tube seamers and CNC routers.
  • Set up machines according to production specifications.
  • Perform quality checks and verify precision of machined components.
  • Identify and report defects or production issues.
  • Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.

About The Role

The Production Team Member – Machine Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining production equipment that supports the construction of premium pontoon boats. This position helps ensure accuracy, quality, efficiency, and on‑time production. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient cutting of materials used in the fabrication of pontoon boats and related components. Machine Operators must follow safety procedures, read and interpret work orders and measurements, and perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet production specifications. Working closely with other manufacturing team members, you will help maintain production schedules while contributing to the overall quality and craftsmanship of our products.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate and monitor Tube Seamers, CNC Routers, Press Brakes, Shears, Benders, and other production machinery
  • Set up machines according to production specifications
  • Perform routine quality checks and verify precision of machined components
  • Identify and report defects or production issues

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Tube Seamers, CNC Routers, Press Brakes, Shears, Benders, and similar equipment
