Job summary

ProMedica’s Monroe Regional Hospital Sleep Center is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to deliver comprehensive sleep disorder evaluation and treatment. The role covers a wide range of recordings including CPAP, Bi-level, REM behavior, MSLT, and oxygen titrations during night shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 12+ months in polysomnography, and BCLS. RPSGT is preferred; otherwise registration may be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography.
• RPSGT – Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, or registration may be obtained within 6 months of hire via A-Step online modules, Sleep Training Program, Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program, or Respiratory Therapy add-on Track.
• BCLS certification at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep studies including routine, non-routine and complex recordings (CPAP, Bi-level, split night).
• Conduct REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, routing PSG, and Oxygen titrations.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
