Location: Duke Raleigh Hospital, A Campus of Duke University Hospital
Shifts:
Three (3) 12-hour night shifts or any combination of shifts.
Provide clinical assessment, physiological monitoring, and testing to assist with diagnosis, management, and prevention of sleep-related disorders using various diagnostic and therapeutic tools. This includes but is not limited to polysomnography, scoring clinical events, generating reports, titrating airway pressure devices, oximetry, capnography, actigraphy, nocturnal oxygen, screening devices, and questionnaires.
Level 1: High school diploma or GED, or current enrollment in a related program.
Level 2 & 3: Associate’s Degree preferred; completion of a polysomnography program or equivalent experience.
Level 1: No experience required with an associate degree; otherwise 6 months patient care experience.
Level 2: 18 months polysomnography experience preferred or proficiency in competencies.
Level 3: 4 years polysomnography experience required.
Level 1: RPSGT or CRT/RRT license, BLS certification.
Levels 2 & 3: RPSGT or sleep-related respiratory therapist certification, BLS.
