Job summary

The University of Rochester Sleep Center is seeking a Polysomnography Technologist to perform sleep studies, calibrate equipment, and assist with data collection for PSG and HSAT procedures. You will work night shifts in Rochester, NY, supporting patient care and patient education according to center protocols.

Required NYS license as a Polysomnographic Technologist and BLS certification; AAS in Polysomnography is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education (required): AAS in Polysomnography Technologist.
• Experience in health care setting preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: customer service, computer use, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Performs sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders under physician direction.
• Collects and transmits biological specimens for analyses.
• Scores sleep records and documents results.
• Calibrates and adjusts sleep study equipment; troubleshoots minor issues.
• Follows sleep center protocols and ensures patient safety.
