Job summary

ProMedica Fremont Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for the Sleep Center. The role involves comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including PSG with CPAP/BiPAP and REM studies, with duties spanning routine to complex recordings.

Qualified candidates will have at least 12 months in polysomnography and may pursue RPSGT certification within 6 months. This part-time night position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography.
• RPSGT certification is required; if not currently certified, registration may be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Completes the A-Step online modules.
• Completes a CAAHCP accredited Sleep Training Program.
• Completes an Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program.
• Completes a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology Certification (BCLS at hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Perform sleep studies including CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, routing PSG, and oxygen titrations.
• Contribute to clinical care in the Sleep Center and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Job Summary: $10,000 Sign on Bonus for external candidates with a 2 year commitment As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. In this role, you will perform all interventions/procedures in a sleep study including routine, non-routine and complex recordings such as CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, seizure studies, REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, routing PSG recordings and Oxygen titrations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography
• RPSGT – Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, if not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, Registration may be obtained in one of the following ways within 6 months of hire:
