Responsibilities

• Performs polysomnography procedures according to policies.
• Completes technical reports and processes patient charge information.
• Maintains accurate medical records and documentation.
• Identifies and eliminates artifacts; performs basic/intermediate troubleshooting.
• Monitors patient safety during procedures and communicates with care staff.
• Prepares patients and rooms for testing; explains procedures and answers questions.
• Collects information for interpretation of test results and ensures proper electrode application.
• Stocks and maintains supplies and equipment; ensures proper functioning.
